Project goal: To strengthen the capacity of media institutions and professionals to report on gender equality and related topics and to promote organisational change within media outlets through revision/improvement of internal policies that contribute to the integration of gender equality principles.

- Conduct institutional capacity needs assessment of the selected media outlets to identify existing challenges and opportunities in promoting and institutionalizing gender-sensitive journalism practices.

- Develop and implement tailored capacity development plans for media outlets consisting of shared learning, individualized workshops and hands-on mentoring to ensure real change in editorial practices.

- Facilitate revision of internal editorial guidelines to integrate gender-sensitive principles - providing institutional support to media outlets in drafting or revising internal editorial guidelines and related documents to integrate gender-sensitive principles.

- Support content development on gender equality- identifying, producing, publishing and promoting impactful media stories on gender equality-related topics.

- Developing one practical innovative tool and one knowledge product on gender equality in media aimed at enhancing the capacity of media professionals to apply gender-sensitive principles in their work.

- Organize an event to recognize media professionals’ contributions to Gender Equality promotion. The media institutions involved in the programme will be awarded with vouchers to aquire equipment to support their work.

- Engage with Academia to promote gender equality in media education – organizing educational, and inspirational sessions in collaboration with journalism faculties in Moldova.
